Digital printing solutions introduced
A two-day technology exhibition aimed at giving Ghanaians the opportunity to optimise digital printing with the latest technologies, has ended in Accra.

Organised by Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited, the event showcased an array of office documentations and print production machines and demonstrated live presentation of the machines.
The occasion was also used to launch Konica Minolta digital print technologies and solutions into the local market. Konica Minolta is a leading digital technology company with its headquarters based in Japan.
Technology advancement
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited, Mr Izzat Debs, said the exhibition was expected to lead to the establishment of a number of digital print shops in parts of the country, adding that the development was expected to contribute to the creation of employment.
“The plan is to introduce Konica Minolta digital print solutions that will improve the quality of office documentation, print production using state of the art technology and solutions that are highly efficient, affordable, durable, and easy to operate,” Mr Debs said.
According to him, the company planned to also put in place a robust sale and after sales technical support team that would help ‘replicate our Nigeria success in Ghana.’
Mr Deb said Konica Minolta machines were suitable for the production of high quality office documents, letter heads, security documents, examination papers, newsletters, magazines, brochures at a high speed.
“It is expected that the introduction of Konica Minolta products into Ghana will uplift the standard of office documentation and print production, create new business opportunities in the small and medium enterprise sector,” he added.
