The 24-member team which was led by the General Manager, Seth Panwum, left Accra on January 31 and returned on February 14, 2016.

Briefing the Graphic Sports on arrival, the Mr Panwum said the exercise had been beneficial and very motivational especially to the new signings.

The tour of Saudi, he explained, was beneficial because, apart from giving the players exposure,  it was the first ever by the club and had also served as a learning process which had fired the players for the league.

Mr Panwum said the team played three matches, two against El- Shabbah, who are placed fifth on the Saudi Arabia Premier League and won both matches 2-0 and 2-1 respectively.

“In the third match against Al Faisal, we won 3-0 with goals coming from Richard Arthur (who scored in all three matches), newly signed Kwame Gyamfi and Kweku Asuandzie were also on target.

He said All Stars were targeting the first six position on the league log and therefore were not taking their preparations lightly ahead of the kick-off of the league.
