On October 14, the USMNT will face Germany at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut. Three days later, on October 17, they will take on Ghana at Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

These matches will serve as valuable opportunities for the USMNT to challenge themselves against formidable international opponents as they prepare for their quarterfinal matches in the Concacaf Nations League, scheduled for the following month.

Ghana and the USMNT have crossed paths on several occasions in the past, including memorable encounters during the 2010 and 2014 World Cups. Their most recent meeting was a friendly match in 2017, which saw the USMNT emerge victorious with a 2-1 scoreline.

As the current 47th-ranked team in the FIFA World Rankings, Ghana poses a strong challenge as a prominent African side. The match against Ghana will take place at Geodis Park, which boasts a seating capacity of 27,500. Notably, this will be the USMNT's inaugural appearance at Geodis Park.

These friendly matches against Germany and Ghana are crucial for the USMNT to test their mettle against top-tier international teams and prepare for future competitions. Moreover, these fixtures offer an exciting opportunity for fans to witness the USMNT in action and rally behind their team.

In a separate context, Ghana will be engaged in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar later this month.
