According to Vincent Odotei Sowah, Chairman of the Strategic Management Committee of the club, the money will be used for the settlement of all outstanding salaries of players, technical handlers and administrators of the club, as well as other financial obligations.

He disclosed to the Graphic Sports that the payment of the salary arrears was one of the initiatives taken by the management to restructure the club to ensure smooth operations in the upcoming Premier League season.

He said the five-man strategic committee, which was constituted to reorganise and redirect the managerial aspect of the club, was going to review a business development document meant for building a sustainable, profitable and modern football venture for the Phobians in the shortest possible time.

One-time GFA presidential candidate, Mr Sowah indicated that his team was in talks with investors to kick-start the construction of the Pobiman Sports Complex which had stalled over the years due to financial challenges.

“We are going to see a very competitive team this season because our club is going to be run like a modern football venture. We are evolving,” he said assuringly.
