Swiss coach appointed Technical Advisor for Black Princesses for U-20 World Cup
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has beefed up the technical team of the Black Princesses with the appointment of Nora Häuptle as the Technical Advisor of the team for next month’s U-20 FIFA Women's World Cup in Costa Rica.
In a statement, the FA said the former Switzerland international would complement the work of Princesses head coach Ben Fokuo for the August 10 – 28 tournament.

The 39-year-old Nora holds is a UEFA Pro Licence certificate and has previously worked as an Instructor for the Swiss Football Association. She holds a Masters in Sports Sciences and has a wealth of experience working as Athletics Coach with the Swiss FA and Swiss Tennis, as well as Strength and Conditioning coach for the Swiss Olympic team, among others.
The former Switzerland international has a wealth of experience as a coach and also as a fitness conditioner for different teams
Nora previously worked with the Israeli FA as Head Coach and Women’s Director for the national team and also had a stint with German Women’s Bundesliga club, SC Sand 1946.
As a player, she featured clubs like BSC Young Boys, FFC Zuchwil 05, FC Twente Enschade, FC Thun and the Swiss national team between 1996 and 2010
She is expected to bring on board her rich experience to help the Black Princesses succeed at the U-20 FIFA Women's World Cup where Ghana have been pooled alongside the Netherlands, United States and Japan.
The Swiss is expected to join the team at their pre-tournament camp in Europe from July 15-30 during which they play France in an international friendly before heading to Costa Rica.
