The hospital staff take photo opportunity with the stars

Man United: Xmas at the hospital for Man United

As has been the tradition, Manchester United last Monday embarked on their annual Christmas visit to the Manchester Royal Children's Hospital to bring some Christmas cheer to young patients.

As expected, the presence of the Old Trafford stars at the hospital lifted the spirit of the patients who were happy to have met the stars.

One after the other the players took turns to visit the children in their various wards before taking pictures and present Christmas gifts.

It was also a pleasant moment for the players, particularly the new signings who were embarking on this annual ritual for the first time.

However, goalkeeper David De Gea, was not amused after he was left out of the trip because he had randomly been selected to undergo a drug test.

While his teammates were handing out gifts to the patients, he was locked up in the training grounds for several hours to undergo the test.
