"My victory in a Francophone dominated election was a great honour to me  and the entire Nations, but I am very interested in how I can leverage my role to help develop the sport of fencing in Ghana", he told  Graphic Sports yesterday in an interview.

“I will do this by voicing the challenges of Ghana fencing to the international federations. I also I hope to have an influence on policies that will promote and develop the sport at the grassroots level not only in Ghana but Africa.
