Herman Abban personally made the presentation, handing over the jerseys to Yahya Macculey, the head coach of the Ghana Wheelchair Tennis team, in a ceremony held at the Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium.

As the team gears up for the forthcoming Paralympic Games, set to take place in Ghana, this gesture comes as a valuable addition to their preparations.

Addressing the players, Herman Abban shared his perspective, saying, "From my upbringing, I've always believed that looking out for the well-being of others ensures our own well-being too. We all know that in our country, lesser-funded sports often don't receive the attention they deserve. Our recent victory in the Davis Cup, elevating Ghana to Group III, has spurred my desire to support those facing physical challenges."

Herman Abban commended the players for their resilience, emphasizing that the donation is intended to inspire and motivate them, underscoring their significance and assuring them of ongoing support from the Herman Abban Foundation.

He also took the opportunity to extend appreciation to Robert Kocisnki for his consistent backing of the Herman Abban Foundation.

Coach Yahya Macauley, speaking on behalf of the team, conveyed heartfelt gratitude for the meaningful gesture. The jerseys, beyond their practical utility, signify recognition and encouragement for the players' efforts.
