“The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has successfully negotiated a transfer agreement for the talented midfielder Winful Cobbinah to join Albanian giants, KF Tirana,” the club announce in a statement Friday.

“The transfer is subject to the player passing a medical with his new club and properly registering via the Fifa TMS,” it added.

The Phobians expressed gratitude to Cobbinah for his services and wished him well at his new side.

The deal will be the second time this year that Cobbinah, MVP of the 2017 MTN FA Cup will be headed to a European club this year.

In January this year, months after winning the WAFU Zone B trophy with the Black Stars B, he refuted allegations that he failed a medical at Danish club Viborg FF.

“Anyone who says I failed a medical test is a liar. I didn’t undergo any medical test since I got to Denmark. I have been training with Viborg FF,”- Winful Cobbinah said in an interview. He had spent two weeks trialling with Viborg.

He had a two-year stint with Najran SC in Saudi Arabia before re-signing with the Phobians in March 2017.
