Ghana meets Nigeria in international golf Saturday

Ghana and Nigeria have engaged each other over the years in international match play golf competitions but this weekend’s two-day clash at the Tema Country Golf Club promises to be thrilling.

A Nigerian business tycoon based in Ghana, David Mark, is sending a chartered aircraft to airlift a strong Nigerian squad from the Otukpo Golf Club on Thursday, for their final brush-up before Saturday’s competition.

The two sides have taken advantage of their home matches but it remains to be seen how the Tema club will fare against their old rivals.

All the stars, including Dr Owusu Baah and Florence Etwi-Barimah, would be in action. It is sponsored by MBG Man Tracks.
