Felix Annan congratulates Danlad Ibrahim

Ex-Asante Kotoko short stopper, Felix Annan, has congratulated his former teammate, Danlad Ibrahim, for his selection to the national team for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

The 20-year-old was a surprise addition to the team after Ghana’s first and second choice goalkeepers, Joseph Wollacott and Richard Ofori were excluded from the squad due to injury.

Annan was excited for his teammate stating that it could have been anyone but he deserves it and encouraged him to stay confident and give out his best.

“Congratulations to you my guy and all the guys who made the cut. It could have been anyone else but you also truly deserves to be there. Stay confident and give your best. Enjoy the moment. We’re all going to cheer, One Ghana and One Nation”, he stated in a tweet.

Annan became one of the safest pair of hands in the local league during his stay with Asante Kotoko and was invited to the Black Stars in 2018 and was also part of the Black Stars squad at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

Asante Kotoko also congratulated their goalkeeper and believed he was going to make the nation and family proud, promising their support for the player.
