Antoine Semenyo: I can't wait to show Ghanaians my worth

Black Stars attacker, Antoine Semenyo, says he is dying to show his countrymen the quality striker he is made of.

Semenyo, who made his international debut for the Black Stars during their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Madagascar last June, returned to the team for Ghana's international friendly against Brazil on Friday, and Nicaragua on Tuesday after missing out on the team due to injury.

Speaking to the Ghanafa.org, the 22-year-old insisted that he was determined to score to make the country proud and added that he was waiting for that opportunity to be on the pitch.

"I am carrying that firing edge so when I get a chance I know I will score and make the country proud so I am just waiting for my opportunity again", he said.

The Bristol City player said when given the opportunity he would also show the world his capabilities and prove that he can score and also contribute immensely to the team's success.

"I just want to show the world stage what I can do, show them I can score, I can link play, I can run in behind if I need to so like I said, I am raring to go and I am ready when I am called upon", he said.
