The First Capital Plus Premier League will now end on June 4, 2014 as the competition takes a short break to allow for all outstanding fixtures to be cleared.
With three more matches to go, the competition will bounce back May 21 with the match-day-28 fixtures, the Premier League Board announced on Friday.
The league's outstanding matches involving five teams - Medeama, Liberty, Heart of Lions, AshantiGold and Aduana - will be played between April 30, 2014 and May 18, 2014.
The final day matches of the season will be played on June 4.

Meanwhile the PLB has scheduled dates for Medeama to clear all of their outstanding matches in the competition.
Medeama, who are involved in the CAF Confederation Cup competition have four games in hand as the competition nears the final weeks.
Beginning on April 30, Medeama will play their first outstanding match and honour the last one on the weekend of May 18.
Three days after that, the competition will resume with the match-day-28 fixtures for the 16 teams.
