Things have changed at Manchester United recently, with a crop of talented youngsters breaking into the first team.
Firstly there was Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, soon followed by Marcus Rashford and now Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
But they’ve all been hitting the headlines just as much for the automotive choice than for their footballing exploits.
Initially, Borthwick-Jackson was snapped arriving to training in his mum’s Volvo… And then again in his Corsa.
Then it was revealed that Rashford’s rise was so rapid, that club sponsorsChevrolet hadn’t even handed him a company motor — instead paying for his own ‘fuel-and-go’ Audi.
And now it appears that Fosu-Mensah is still relying on his folks to give him a lift to training.
While Wayne Rooney, Memphis Depay and Co arrive in their flash cars, youngster Fosu-Mensah — a substitute against West Brom — was given a lift in his dad’s Toyota.
Who says ALL footballers earn too much?
