Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals yesterday made a shaky start to the 2013/14 Premier League when they were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Wa All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Striker Montari Tagoe the scores the opener in the seventh minute when he headed home a freekick taken at the edge of the box to put Liberty ahead.
The sparse crowd went into wild jubilation only to be left disappointed by a drab game afterwards as both teams centred the game in the midfield leaving the two goalkeepers virtually on holiday until the end of the first half.
After the reccess, Liberty lost steam and sat back to soak the pressure from the All Stars side.
Samuel Boateng capitalised on the situation to score the equaliser for All Stars.
