Kotoko Vrs Hearts Sunday

The much-awaited titanic clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak comes on this Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The match, a seventh week Glo Premier League fixture was originally fixed for last  Sunday, but had to be rescheduled because the venue was booked earlier for a political activity.

Sunday’s confrontation, the Ghanaian version of the El Classico is the only match  of the day as the league takes  a one-week break to make way for the clearance of the outstanding game.

Kotoko who have dominated Hearts in recent times last season beat the Phobians in an epic showdown at the Baba Yara Stadium and appear the favourites in Sunday’s game following their performance in their last two games.

But the story in the Hearts camp is  opposite as the Phobians have been uninspiring in recent times leading to the termination of their contract with Coach C.K. Akonnor.

However, with the presence of Coach David Duncan appear to have clawed back some confidence for the Phobia boys and it would be interesting how it plays out on Sunday.
