Arsenal and Germany midfielder, Mesut Ozil, says he plans to remain at the London club "now and in the future".
Ozil, who is out with a knee injury, has been linked with a £30million move to Bayern Munich in January, but a tweet he shared Tuesday gave a clear indication that he plans to remain at Arsenal.
"[T]hanks for your support following my injury. I'll come back on the pitch soon as I can to help #AFC. now and in the future #MiaSanArsenal," Ozil tweeted.
Mesut Ozil suffered shock news when he arrived for Germany duty last week with knee problems.
An MRI scan showed that he had torn ligaments, and will be out of action until 2015.
