Accra Hearts of Oak have drawn up an 11-point indicator to guide the club’s three-year strategic plan towards a revival.
Disclosing this to the media last Friday at the club’s secretariat in Accra, the Managing Director of the club, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, said winning laurels on the field of play was the first of the indicators.
“We also need a stronger brand identity and merchandising, drive, a strong professional outlook and stronger finances,” he said.
He noted that Hearts had a very rich history and in that regard the revolution would be dubbed ‘’Restoring the Phobian Glory’’.
According to him, the three indicators, which would be spearheaded by a merchandising unit, would help boost the revenue base of the club.
The development of infrastructure, an enhanced sponsorship and the creation of a database of registered fans, would also be covered under the programme.
He said when this came to fruition, the club would operate from a new secretariat, reconstruct the Pobiman training pitch and procure a new bus.
Mr Armstrong-Mortagbe outlined the other four as the revamping of the chapter organisation, an energised Hearts Ladies Club, a stronger Old Players Association and the creation of a corporate Phobian network.
He called on all supporters to remain loyal to the club and also continue with their relentless support for the team.
