Falcao's future uncertain at United

Radamel Falcao's agent, Jorge Mendes, admits the striker's Manchester United future is uncertain amid reports that the Monaco striker could move to Serie A side Juventus at the end of the season.

Falcao, 29, has scored just three Premier League goals while on loan at United this season and was left out of Louis van Gaal's 18-man matchday squad that last Sunday suffered home defeat to Southampton.

Attending the Ballon d'Or ceremony last night in Zurich with another of his clients, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mendes told Sky Italia that Falcao wil play for "one of the very best clubs" next season, but said it may not be the Old Trafford side.

Asked whether the striker will ever be seen in Serie A, Mendes replied: "I don't know. He is a fantastic player and I think it's very difficult for Manchester United fans - they have an absolutely brilliant player, one of the very best in the world, who would, without any doubt, play 90 minutes of the match, every time, with any other club.

"The truth is, right now we don't know what will happen. What we do know is that he will play in one of the very best clubs in the world next season, whether that is Manchester United or not.

"I am 100 per cent sure of that. But you know how football works - we need to wait a little. We'll see what happens.”
