Angel Di Maria says Paris Saint-Germain deserved to book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals at the expense of Chelsea.
The French champions advanced through to the last eight after securing a 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening, winning 4-2 on aggregate.
Di Maria made a crucial impact on the night, setting up Zlatan Ibrahimovic for PSG's second to ensure they won both legs of their last-16 tie by the same 2-1 scoreline.
And the former Manchester United man feels PSG were worthy winners after “demonstrating their talent” against Guus Hiddink's Chelsea.
"We're very happy. It's a huge joy," Di Maria said, as quoted by UEFA.com.
"The work of one season has come to fruition. We demonstrated our talent.
