WAFA have proved to be tough customers for Hearts after holding Hearts to a frustrating 1-1 drawn game in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.

And coupled with WAFA’s enviable home record, the Phobians will certainly face a match of their lives despite having the best away record in the competition.

The talented WAFA team are unbeaten at the home grounds this season, winning eight of their matches with three drawn games which have earned them an impressive 27 points from a possible 33, scoring 18 goals conceding only three in 11 games.

Hearts, on the other hand, hope to maintain their unbeaten away form while they seek to hand WAFA their first home loss, with the Phobians’ leading marksman, Cosmos Dauda, expected to lead their charge after sitting out of their last two matches due to injury.

Coach Sergio Traguil will also have at his disposal the services of striker Samuel Yeboah, who has fully recovered from a knee injury, as well as promising forward, Patrick Razak.

In Kumasi on Sunday, fifth-placed Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be hoping to bounce back from unimpressive run of five league matches without a win as they play host to Dreams FC who lie in fourth position on the league log.

Defending champions Ashgold SC will play host to bottom-placed New Edubiase United at the Len Clay Sports Stadium at Obuasi, while debutants Techiman City seek to maintain their unbeaten home record as they welcome improving Ebusua Dwarfs, who are unbeaten in their last three matches, at the Nana Ameyaw Park.

At the Wa Park, third-placed All Stars will host MTN FA Cup finalist, Bechem United, Sekondi Hasaacas welcome Aduana Stars to Essipon, Berekum Chelsea play host to Liberty Professionals at the Golden City Park, while relegation-threatened Inter Allies welcome Medeama to the Tema Stadium.
