Asante Kotoko draw ES Setif in CAF Confederation Cup

Ghanaian giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, have been drawn against Algerian side ES Sétif in the play-off of the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup.

Kotoko will be playing against Setif in the Confederation Cup following their elimination from the CAF Champions League by Sudan’s Al Hilal Omdurman.

The Porcupine Warriors failed to raise a team to fulfill their second leg encounter with Al Hilal in Sudan following positive COVID-19 test results to seven players.

Setif on the other advanced to this stage of the Confederation Cup after getting a walkover against Chadian side Renaissance FC following their disqualification.

In a draw which was conducted on Friday, Kotoko is expected to face Setif in the first leg encounter on Sunday February 14, 2021 in Accra.

Asante Kotoko will travel to Algeria for the second leg fixture on Tuesday, February 21, 2021.
