Their encounter, which was the main bout of the the VIP Fight Night bills, saw the Ghanaian under the cosh from the start with Oluwaseum displaying exquisite footwork and combinations to punish the body of the Ghanaian who moved with a slight limp from the start.
The Nigerian did not relent in the first five rounds as he gave his opponent no chance to catch his breath.
Pappoe visited the canvas for the first time in the seventh round but referee Shadrack Acquaye ruled it as a slip. However, he wasn't as fortunate in round 11 when Oluwaseum connected to his face with a left-right combination to leave him sprawling and requiring assistance to lift himself off the canvas.
In another interesting bout, the all-action 10 round Super Featherweight contest between Sherrif Quaye and Felix Ajom was adjudged a draw by judges Confidence Hiagbe, Shadrack Acquaye and Emmanuel Brenya who scored the bout 75-76, 77-77 and 78-76 respectively. Both corners felt their boxers deserved victory in the 10-round bout and displayed their displeasure.
