Watch Live: Day 50 of Supreme Court hearing of election petition
The Supreme Court is sitting today to ask questions and seek clarifications on the addresses by counsels for the parties in the 2012 presidential election petition.

Last week the lead counsels in the petition locked horns at the Supreme Court to justify why President John Dramani Mahama should or should not be maintained as President of the Republic.
After their addresses, the judges scheduled today - August 14, 2013 - to seek clarifications and ask questions.
The judges explained that they haven’t had the chance as of then to read through the voluminous addresses.
It is expected that 15 days after today, the court will give judgment on the matter.
Today, lawyers for the petitioners, President Mahama, the Electoral Commission (EC) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Messrs Philip Addison, Tony Lithur, James Quashie-Idun and Tsatsu Tsikata, respectively, are facing the nine-member Supreme Court panel hearing the petition to answer questions and clarify issues that may have arisen from their evidence and or addresses.
They are also expounding on some of the issues they have raised on behalf of their clients during the hearing of the petition which lasted four months.
The nine-member panel, presided over by Mr Justice William Atuguba, has Mr Justice Julius Ansah, Mrs Justice Sophia Adinyira, Ms Justice Rose Constance Owusu, Mr Justice Jones Dotse, Mr Justice Anin Yeboah, Mr Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, Mr Justice N. S. Gbadegbe and Mrs Justice Vida Akoto-Bamfo as members.
The issues before the court for determination are allegations of persons being allowed to vote without undergoing biometric verification, over-voting, some presiding officers not signing pink sheets (statement of poll and declaration of results forms for the office of President) and some pink sheets having duplicated serial numbers.
Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie and Hopeson Adorye who have been cited for contempt would also be appearing before the court today.
