Parliament approves 11 ministerial appointments

Parliament has approved 11 people nominated by the President for ministerial appointments. They are Nii Osah Mills, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources; Dr Kwaku Agyeman -Mensah,  Health; Mr James Zuugah Tiigah, Upper East Region; Mr Acquinas Tawiah Quansah, Central Region, and Mr Antwi Boasiako Sekyere, Eastern Region.

The rest are deputy ministers and they are Mrs Della Sowah, Gender, Children and Social Protection; Dr Victor Asare Bampoe, Health; Mr Johnny Osei Kofi,  Water Resources,  Works and Housing; Mr Alex Segbefia,  Defence; Mrs Mona Quartey,  Finance, and Mr Ato Sarpong, Communications.

The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr Ebo Barton-Odro, who is also the Chairman of the Appointments Committee of the House, who moved the motion for the adoption of the report of the committee, said the various nominees distinguished themselves at the vetting and should be approved.
