Julius Debrah ends tour of Upper West

The Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, has ended his six-day tour of the Upper West Region, with a call on the people to rally behind the leadership of President John Mahama as Ghana prepares for election 2016.

He also thanked the chiefs and people of the region for their continuous support for President Mahama and the massive support given to him and his delegation during the tour.
Mr Debrah said this when he paid a courtesy call on the chiefs of Kaleo in the Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency in the Upper West Region on his last day tour in the region last Saturday.
About the tour
Last Monday, he led a delegation, which included the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, to visit the region.
The purpose of the tour was to explain to the people the 2016 manifesto of the NDC which was launched in Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo regional capital.
During the tour, Mr Debrah also inspected some of the major development projects on-going in the region. They include the construction of a new market for Wa, road networks and schools.
From the Palace of Wa Naa through the palaces of the Wechiau Naa, the Dorimon Naa, the Nandom Naa, the Lawra Naa, the Bulenga Naa, the Kaleo Chiefs to the Takpo Naa, Mr Debrah was welcomed and adorned with a smock at the individual locations.
Massive development in the offing
At each of the palaces visited, the Chief of Staff said the government was determined to bring development to all the 11 constituencies in the region.
