LED lights on the side of the bed will softly illuminate your midnight journey to the bathroom

New hi-tech mattress ‘watches you while you sleep’ then tells your smartphone

The Balluga interactive bed promises to give you "your best night's sleep, every night," thanks to some futuristic features.

Slumberers can set the temperature of the mattress to change on each side of the bed - meaning you and your significant other can cool down or warm up as needed.

It also claims to be able to stop snorers.

The bed works with a remote app available on iOS, Android or Windows that gives you feedback on how you slept.

It's even got LED lights on the side of the bed to softly illuminate your midnight journey to the bathroom - without waking you with bright lights

Having exceeded its financial goal on Kickstarter by raising £74,300, the bed is all set to go into production.

And it's claiming to offer some impressive tricks for a £770 retail price.

"Balluga also has anti-snoring technology, which detects a snoring sleeper using the built-in microphone.

"The Balluga bed then reacts by raising the snorer’s head or adjusting their upper body to stop the snoring," explained the team behind the invention.

Inside the bed are layers of air-filled cells that support your body while you're sleeping

These air cells are constantly replenished so they maintain their firmness and remain as new over time. In addition to the constant stream of air maintaining a dry and healthy sleep environment, the non-absorbent, anti-allergen components can also be steam cleaned.
