Work hard to achieve your dreams — Dr Kadogbe
The Founder and Executive Director of Human Rights Education Africa (HREA), a non- governmental organisation (NGO) committed to human rights education, research, advocacy and counselling, Dr Clement Kadogbe, has advised the youth to work hard and have faith in God and in themselves to achieve their big dreams.

He said people who succeeded in life toiled in their work, saying: “Dreaming big alone cannot achieve anything if you do not work hard enough.’’
According to Dr Kadogbe, who is also a motivational speaker, relationship and youth counsellor, many young people had big dreams about what they wanted to become in future but they could not work hard enough to achieve those dreams, noting that “such big dreams become wishful thinking in the end’’.
“If you have fine aims and ideas but you do not put them into reality, then your aims and ideas become just something you are imagining; it is not reality,’’ he stressed.
He further entreated the youth to remain focused in life, adding, ‘’Nobody attained success in life through short cuts, which are very dangerous.’’
Thanksgiving
Dr Kadogbe gave the advice at a thanksgiving service held in his honour at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Trinity Parish at Madina near Accra, to show appreciation to God for his successful completion of a Doctor of Theology programme.
His research dissertation was on: “Human Rights and Christianity: A Relationship of Conflicts to Marry and Found a Family in Ghana.’’

The acting district pastor of the church, Reverend Dr Mrs Bridget Ben-Naimah, and the Synod Clerk of the Madin Presbytery of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Reverend W. S. Alorvi, formally presented Dr Kadogbe with his doctoral certificate on behalf of the Newburgh Theological Seminary in Indiana, where he undertook his studies.
In a sermon, Rev. Dr Mrs Ben-Naimah urged Christians to have trust in God, as He was faithful to keep His covenants with His people.
She also encouraged all to remain steadfast in Christ, saying, “He is a truthful God who keeps to His promises.’’
