Second year Gold Track students to report November 12

The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced November 12, 2019 as the new date for re-opening for all second year Gold Track students, as against the previously announced date of October 15, 2019.

A statement signed and issued by the Head of the Public Relations Unit of the GES, Ms Cassandra Twum Ampofo explained that the decision was arrived at during a joint meeting between the management of the GES and executives of the Conference of Heads of Assisted Senior High Schools (CHASS).

Academic work
“This means that Form Two gold students are to report for the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year on November 12, 2019 for academic work to begin.

“It is anticipated that the new date would enable parents and students, teachers and education workers to prepare adequately for the re-opening of the new academic year,” the statement said.

While apologizing for the inconveniences created, the statement however urged all staff, students and the general public to take note of the new development.
