Two health experts and medical practitioners took the patients through better health practices, how to prevent malaria, and how to respond to treat breast lumps and ear infections.

Patients were later presented with malaria drugs, ear and eye drops, multivitamins while others were referred for further check-up.

The Rotary Club of Accra Labone also presented exercise books and other reading materials to school children of the community before presenting bags of used clothing to the people of the community.

President of Rotary Club of Accra Labone, George Agyekum told the Daily Garphic that his outfit responded to the needs of the community after an initial visit to the place together with his team saw them being greeted with the myriad of problems of the community including health issues a year ago.

He said the Rotary Club of Accra Labone, have adopted this community and the health screening exercise was the first in a series of projects they hope to bring into the community to improve their well-being.
