President Akufo-Addo joins Muslims to celebrate Eid in Kumasi

On Friday, July 31, 2020, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo joined the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumin Haruna, and worshipers at the Kumasi Central Mosque for Jumu’ah Prayers, as part of the Eid ul-Adha celebrations
President Akufo-Addo urged Muslims to use the occasion of Eid ul-Adha to reflect on the spirit of sacrifice and loyalty that inspired Prophet Ibrahim to accept Allah’s command to sacrifice his son Ishmael.
