Police presence reduce at Supreme Court
Police personnel were seen on top of their vehicles outside the court premises, while the pavement that stretched from the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice building traffic light to the Supreme Court gate was barricaded.
Judicial staff was seen going about their normal court duties, while lawyers and their clients moved about.
Among other requests, the Court by a unanimous decision last Tuesday asked the representatives of the NPP, who petitioned the court on results of the presidential polls, to furnish the Electoral Commission (EC) and President John Mahama with better particulars of claims with respect to the alleged electoral irregularities. –GNA
