The crime officer said on Saturday, March 23, a group of land guards had gone to the land to erect some pillars on a portion they had earmarked for sale and that when Ntim confronted them, they left the scene.
“On Sunday, Ntim returned from church and was in his house when the land guards entered the house and kidnapped him. His body was found in a bush about 15 minutes later,” ASP Agbegne said.
Ntim’s body has since been deposited at the Police Hospital mortuary, while the police have begun full-scale investigations into the case.
