Latex Foam supports Orthopaedic Hospital

Latex Foam has presented a cheque for GH¢10,000 to the Focos Orthopaedic Hospital, a spine surgery specialist hospital in Accra.

The Public Relations Officer of Latex Foam, Mrs Gifty Ekeocha Appiah, presenting the cheque on behalf of the company, said: “Latex Foam and Focos Orthopaedic Hospital have a common vision: to provide quality service for our customers.”
She said since its inception, the hospital had rendered a great service to many patients, both locally and internationally, and that Latex Foam would like to associate itself with the good work going on in the facility.
She explained that the donation was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, as well as its medical outreach for the year.
Mrs Appiah said Latex Foam had undertaken certain projects in the past, such as sponsoring the refurbishment of the Korle Bu Gynaecology Ward, which is now named the Latex Foam Hall.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Focos Orthopaedic Hospital, Professor Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, who received it on behalf of the hospital, said it would organise a fund-raising event at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel on May 13, 2017 to support children who required complex spine surgeries.
