JAPOSA congratulate Prof. Attafuah, ACP Sarpong

Former students of Jachie-Pramso Senior High School (JAPOSA) have congratulated Professor Ken Agyeman Attafuah and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mr Patrick Adusei Sarpong on their appointments as the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Central University College (CUC) and the Director General of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service, respectively.

A statement issued and signed by the President of JAPOSA, Mr George Ernest Asare, commended the two for their appointments, describing it as reward for hard work, commitment to duty, high sense of integrity and discipline.

According to the statement, despite the fact that the two were groomed from one of the most deprived schools in the Ashanti Region, they had distinguished themselves in all fields of endeavour. “There is, therefore, no doubt that they will discharge their responsibilities creditably in their respective appointments.”

While urging them to continue to display exemplary leadership, the statement entreated them to visit their almamater regularly to interact and motivate the students to study hard to also attain excellence.

Such visits, it said, would also encourage the students to appreciate the fact that a person’s achievements in life had nothing to do with the type of school he or she attended but everything with hard work.

Professor Attafuah, a former human rights officer and founding director of the William Ofori-Atta Institute of Integrity (a governance and leadership training school), and ACP Sarpong, a former Deputy Police Commander of the  Brong Ahafo Region, assumed their respective duties late last year.
