Tranzact launches XCEL Ghana App to provide inclusive financial services
A financial technology company, eTranzact Ghana Limited, has launched a new Fintech solution designed to transform Ghana’s financial sector and provide inclusive services for all.

The new solution, known as XCEL Ghana App, launched on September 19, 2024, is tailored for business owners, students, professionals and anyone managing daily finances.
The founder of the company, Dr Valentine Obi, said the app aimed to democratise access to financial services across the country.

He explained that one of the standout features of XCEL Ghana was its versatility as it enabled users to manage their GH-Link prepaid cards, make digital payments and access various financial services from a single app.
He noted that the app bridged traditional banking methods with the digital economy, allowing users to benefit from their physical GH-Link cards, while enjoying the convenience of digital transactions.
The app is designed to evolve continually, integrating new technologies and features to redefine financial service delivery.
"From instant digital payments to innovative security features, we are committed to staying ahead of the curve and ensuring that our users benefit from cutting-edge solutions," he indicated.
Dr Obi expressed the company's belief in financial inclusion, stating that XCEL was meant to provide every individual, regardless of their location or economic status with the tools to manage their finances effectively.

The Board Chair of the company, Rev. Professor Paul Frimpong, in a speech read on his behalf, described the app’s launch as a “significant milestone,” positioning it as a game-changer in Ghana's financial market.
