
Regional Minister seeks support of the Catholic Church
As part of efforts to get the support of all stakeholders in the development of the region, the Upper West Regional Minister, Charles Lwanga Puozuing, has paid a working visit to the Chief Shepherd of the Catholic Church in the Wa Diocese, Most Rev. Francis Bomansaan.
The visit was to formally introduce himself to the bishop, seek his blessing and guidance and also the support of the Catholic Church in the development of the region.
He was accompanied by the Upper West Regional Coordinating Director, Pognaa Fati Issaka Koray.
As a product of the Catholic Church himself, the regional minister acknowledged the role of the Catholic Church in the development of human capital, particularly in the educational sector and said it was important that the church and state collaborate for the effective development of the region.

Most Rev. Bomansaan congratulated the regional minister on his appointment and commended him for seeking the collaboration of all stakeholders to assist in the development of the region.
He assured him of the support of the Catholic Church for all activities that seek the well-being and development of the people of the region and prayed for a successful reign for him.
