Delegation from Abeadze-Dominase call on Rawlings

A delegation of chiefs and elders from Abeadze-Dominase in the Mfantsiman District of the Central Region, led by the Paramount Chief, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusie VII have called on former President Jerry John Rawlings at his office to express their gratitude for the latter’s presence as Guest of Honour at the Abeadze annual Ahobaa Kese festival held in August last year.
Daasebre Kwebu Ewusie said the people of Abeadze-Dominase were very grateful that the former President found time to celebrate the annual festival with them.
The paramount chief called on the former President to seek government’s assistance with the reconstruction of the four-kilometer stretch of road from Mankessim to Abeadze as it was in such a dilapidated state.
The two statesmen also held discussions on other issues of national importance.
