#Coronavirus: Delta Agro Limited supports Korle Bu, 3 others

The management of Delta Agro Limited, a leading local manufacturer of antiseptic liquids and antibiotic soaps, has presented items worth GH¢70,000 to four health institutions in the Greater Accra Region to help manage the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

The beneficiary institutions are Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Ghana’s largest referral health facility; 37 Military Hospital; Police Hospital and the Tema General Hospital.

Led by its Marketing Executive, Mr Mohammed Al-Roz, Delta Agro Limited presented about 25,000 pieces of the company’s line of products, comprising Mariam antibiotic soaps and Mariam antiseptic liquid, to the four healthcare facilities at separate ceremonies.

Presenting the items, Mr Al-Roz said the donation was part of the company’s campaign to fight the COVID-19 pandemic which required strict adherence to personal hygiene protocols such as regular hand washing with disinfectant soap under running water.

It, therefore, deemed it appropriate and timely to support the four major healthcare institutions by ensuring that soaps and antiseptic liquids were readily available for use by both patients and medical officers at the frontline of provision of healthcare.

“One of the ways of preventing the spread of coronavirus is regular washing of hands with soaps under running water, so as a local manufacturer of antibiotic soaps and antiseptic liquids, Delta Agro Limited it committed to the campaign against the coronavirus pandemic.

“We believe our products will go a long way to contribute towards improvement of hygiene and disinfecting our major hospitals as we all join hands together to fight his coronavirus pandemic,” Mr Al-Roz said.

Other members of the team were Messrs Feres Gerges, Business Development Manager of Delta Agro Limited and Kennedy Delali Agbeko, Marketing Officer of the company.
