Ave Maria School donates to Dansoman Polyclinic

Ave Maria School has presented medical equipment, drugs and assorted items to the Dansoman Polyclinic in Accra. The items included stethoscopes, drip stands, bed pans, bed sheets, boxes of needles and syringes, sachets of water and toiletries.

Estimated at GH¢10,000, the items are meant to support the running of the facility.


It was also part of activities to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the school, Mrs Mary Ama Kyem Antwi.
The items were received on behalf of the Polyclinic by the Medical Superintendent, Dr Felicia Anderson.

Provision of essential services


Presenting the items, the Headmistress of the school, Mrs Florence D. Agordjor, stated that the polyclinic was selected due to the essential services it provided for the community.


According to her, the school identified the basic needs of the clinic and provided them accordingly.


Mrs Agordjor, who spoke on behalf the Managing Proprietor, Mr Michael Sarfo Antwi, pledged the school’s continued support for the clinic.


“As we have always been assisting the centre, we are ever prepared to give further support whenever we’re called upon,” she stressed.
Dr Anderson expressed her appreciation for the gesture, and called on individuals, corporate bodies and institutions to follow the footsteps of Ave Maria School.


She indicated that the clinic needed a lot of assistance to keep it active and running.
