Architects Council holds workshop on Intellectual Property
Architects and Built Environment Professionals have attended a two-day workshop on Intellectual Property (IP) organised by the Architects Registration Council (ARC).

The workshop was aimed at sensitising participants to ways of protecting their IP and commercialising it effectively.
The workshop facilitator, Mahama Issah, an IP expert, stressed that architects needed to be recognised for their ideas and creativity which must be enhanced with continuous training and research.
Opening the workshop, Mrs Stella N.D. Arthiabah, the Registrar of Architects, whose address was read on her behalf by the Principal Assistant Registrar of ARC, Mr Robert Fraikue, noted that the workshop was targeted at giving the professionals an insight into how to effectively protect and commercialise their IP and also to be abreast of current trends.
