It has been explained that the ambulance from the National Ambulance Service seen in a viral video loading cement bags is from Sege in the Greater Accra Region.
The incident was captured at Buduburam in the Central Region near XXX [Triple X] and the Forestry check point in the area.

The eyewitness and the person who captured the incident on video said he witnessed about 16 bags of cement being loaded unto the ambulance, which later conveyed the cement bags away.
The incident happened on March 26, 2021 at about 11:38am, according to Prince Acquah, a journalist from Pink FM in Kasoa, who recorded the incident on video.
The National Ambulance Service has reacted to the development and said the vehicle had been sent to Accra from Sege for maintenance at the time the incident happened.
According to Professor Ahmed Zakaria, CEO of the Ambulance Service, their preliminary investigation has established that the vehicle was used to carry the cement while it was still in the custody of the mechanic who was handling the maintenance service.
"Our preliminary investigation shows that the vehicle was sent to a garage for servicing and after the repairs was when the mechanic clandestinely took the ambulance for the operation of conveying cement with it. The case has been reported to the police," Prof Zakaria said in a terse statement issued Tuesday afternoon [June 1, 2021].
This is one of the new ambulances recently secured and distributed to constituencies across the country.

According to the journalist, Prince Acquah, he unfortunately dropped his phone on the day [March 26, 2021] he did the recording and got the screen of his phone damaged.
He said he was able to service the phone and retrieve the video last week.
He said he was attracted by the unusual nature of the incident and that is why he recorded it.
Prince Acquah gave the registration number of the vehicle as GV 537-20.
He said he gave the video and the registration number of the vehicle to the National Ambulance Service on Tuesday morning (June 1, 2021) and from their checks they established that the vehicle was from Sege.
He said the National Ambulance Service told him that the vehicle had been sent to Accra for servicing and it was suspected that the mechanic is the one who sent it to the cement depot to load the cement on the said day.
