13-year-old boy stabs Class Six pupil to death
A misunderstanding between a young man and a teenager at a wedding at Kapolhine, a suburb of Tamale, last Sunday later turned bizarre when the teenager stabbed the young man to death.
Sulemana Haruna, a 20-year-old Class Six pupil, is said to have stabbed Mohammed Hamidu,13, a school dropout, in the abdomen with a kitchen knife, but Hamidu managed to snatch the knife from Sulemana and stab him in the chest, resulting in his death.

The incident happened after Hamidu and a girlfriend had allegedly been attacked by Sulemana while Hamidu and the girl were on their way home after the wedding.
For committing the act, Hamidu has been remanded by the Tamale District Court, presided over by Mr Anthony Asaah, to reappear in a fortnight.
