CETAG calls off strike
The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has called off their strike action.

CETAG withdrew teaching and other related services from Tuesday August 1st 2023 in all the 46 public Colleges of Education.o
The association explained that the action followed a failure by the employer to comply with the award issued by the National Labour Commission (NLC) on May 2, 2023.
But majority of the members of the association in vote cast on Monday September 4, voted to call-off the strike action.
The voting was supervised by the National Executive Committee (NEC).
“On the basis of the voting outcome above, the strike is suspended/called-off based on a majority decision with effect from Tuesday, 5th September, 2023", the association stated.
