The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has recalled Parliament from recess to sit for five days to consider some urgent parliamentary business.

In a notice issued on Wednesday, August 12, the Speaker directed Members of Parliament to return to the House from Monday, August 24, to Friday, August 28, 2026.
