Members of the newly inaugurated Board of Directors of the Ghana Tourism Authority have been charged to exert their expertise to increase Ghana’s tourism revenue. In 2019, Ghana generated over 3.3 billion dollars with the visit of over one million tourists but the Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, Mr Ibrahim Mohammed Awal is confident that the country will be able to rake in over five billion dollars if 1.6 million tourists visit the country.
