30 Years of Press Freedom: A look into the journey so far
It’s a sunny morning in Accra, and a group of young journalists are gathered in a conference room, excitedly discussing a story they had just broken.

Over the years, World Press Freedom Day has served as an opportunity for governments, civil society organizations, and individuals around the world to come together to promote press freedom, defend the independence of media and pay tribute to journalists who have lost their lives while doing their job.
Progress of Press Freedom in Ghana
As the world celebrates 30 years of press freedom, it is important to reflect on the benefits that press freedom brings to us, particularly in Ghana, where Press freedom has contributed significantly to freedom of expression.
