Bessa, AB Crentsil in action tonight

Keyboardist Bessa Simons  and his Bessa Band will tonight, January 3  bring a fascinating mix of contemporary popular music to patrons of the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in Accra.

The band has proved itself as a capable addition to the nation’s live music circuit over the last two years. It has played at a variety of venues across the country but +233 seems to be where it swings best.

With a repertoire that spans different eras and genres, the band has learned to climax with engrossing highlife pieces that quickly pull patrons to the dance floor.

Apart from Bessa’s own songs such as Belembe, Awow Yi, Odo Atsew Wire, Akwaaba, Accra Junction and Sii Nana, the band is expected to offer thrilling stuff from other giant African composers.

Guest of the Bessa Band tonight will be highlife virtuoso,  A. B. Crentsil. He is an experienced composer and performer and it should be a delightful evening with him on stage.
