GOtv goes live in Takoradi
Residents of Sekondi-Takoradi and its environs can now enjoy quality digital entertainment as GOtv brings even more value to Ghana television lovers.

The service was launched last Friday at the GOtv DTT transmission site located at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation premises in Takoradi.
Speaking at the launch, Mr Kingsley Afful, GOtv Business Manager said the service launched on the latest DVB-T2 technology, means there is no need for subscribers to replace or upgrade their decoders “going with GOtv means you will be on the latest technology”.
He said as an African business, GOtv is constantly striving to meet the needs of television audiences in Ghana, and firmly believes this new offering will provide a solution for television viewers to enjoy a wide range of digital channels thus opening up a whole new world of great family entertainment.
“Our philosophy is to remain innovative in order to continue to deliver the best possible digital television to the people of Ghana.
“GOtv delivers a selection of the best and exciting channels and African content in great picture and sound quality, making it the home of great channels”.
GOtv currently offers the GOtv and GOtv Plus bouquets which are packed with exciting local and international channels designed to keep your family entertained with great news, movies, kids programming and sports.
“A total of 37 channels are available to GOtv Plus subscribers while GOtv subscribers can access a total of 22 channels”, he added.
Some of GOtv’s channel lineup are M-Net Movies Zone, AfricaMagic, AfricaMagic Movies, AfricaMagic World, AfricaMagic Yoruba, AfricaMagic Hausa and E! Entertainment.
The rest are Discovery World, SuperSport Select, SuperSport Blitz, eTV Africa, Vox Africa, Telemundo, Blackbelt, Kidsco, Nickelodeon, Al Jazeera, CNN and Channel O.
GOtv has already been rolled out in Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, and Sunyani.
