Shatta Wale to drop new single

Shatta WaleHe is undoubtedly the man of the moment. However, until his outburst at the last Ghana Music Awards, Shatta Wale was obviously missing in the music industry but that cannot be said of him in recent times.

He has taken over the airwaves with songs like Dance Hall King, Enter The Net and Ice Cream.  And now, the “Boss” of the Shatta Movement in Ghana is set to release a new track which features UK-based Dancehall act, Sonni Bali.

Even though the title of the song is unknown and yet to receive airplay, many of his fans are hopeful that the new track will make a hit following in the success of Enter the Net which was released earlier this year.

Reports from the UK where Shatta Wale is currently on a musical tour has it that he has received good patronage from his music fans there.

Real name, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, Shatta Wale was also known as Bandana. He claims the masses are singing and dancing to his songs because he has worked hard to churn out good music that is loved by many.

Born Sonny Kwabena Amoako Akoanor, Sonni Bali had a taste of success as a musician when he was discovered by music producer, Nana King, who produced his first single. He went on to start a musical group called ‘G Life’ with three other friends.

The group made two successful albums together namely; Kotoho and Abrabo in Ghana Life but broke up after the second album.
